Use The Apothecary Os inside Claude.

The Apothecary Os works on its own. Studio members can also connect their own Claude account and formulate by conversation. Ask for what you want in plain English, like “a whipped body butter for dry, melanated skin, nut-free, with a warm scent,” and Claude uses The Apothecary Os's formulation tools to build the recipe, check comedogenic ratings and essential-oil limits, and explain every choice. Same data, same safety checks, just a conversation instead of clicks.

The Claude connection is included with the Studio plan. You need your own Claude account, and your Claude usage is billed by Anthropic under your own Claude plan, not by The Apothecary Os.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard Claude uses to talk to outside tools. Point Claude at our MCP URL and it can call the same builders and databases you use on this site — with real formulation math, not made-up numbers.

Connect in 4 steps

  1. 1. Open Claude Desktop → Settings.
  2. 2. Go to Connectors (or Developer → MCP Servers).
  3. 3. Click Add custom connector and paste https://theapothecaryos.com/mcp.
  4. 4. Sign in with your Apothecary Os Studio account when Claude prompts you. Done.
